We are advancing on the solution of the performance problem that affects machines under Windows 11 22H2 equipped with an NVIDIA graphics card, since the manufacturer has recognized these problems. A first solution is provided to users.
Windows 11 22H2 has been available for a few days, and the first negative and positive feedback is already available on the web. A first problem is quickly raised and it concerns the performance of NVIDIA graphics cards on this new version of Windows: major slowdowns, CPU that does not run enough, etc… We can imagine that some users did not appreciate that their evening gaming be ruined! 🙂
aware of the problem, NVIDIA communicated on its site on this subject : “Some users may experience slower performance in games or apps after updating to Microsoft Windows 11 2022 Update“. To correct the problem, NVIDIA released a beta version of its NVIDIA GeForce Experience software : it’s about the version 3.26. The company also states thata stable version will be available later this weekalso with the GeForce Game Ready driver update.
For people in a hurry, know that it is possible to apply one of the following two methods:
- Download the beta version from the NVIDIA website and install it directly (via this download link)
- Access the NVIDIA GeForce Experience software settings > activate the option to benefit from experimental features > close the application > wait 30 seconds > reopen the application > this should allow you to have the update
If you have noticed this problem and are testing this temporary solution, please let us know. For those who can wait a little longer, it is better to wait for the stable and definitive version.
